and how they impact your consciousness...

Your brain is made up of cells that are called neurons. When your brain engages in neurological functions, neurons transmit information to each other via electrical signals. These signals produce rhythms or wave patterns, which are known as brain waves. Each brainwave, when dominant, shifts the mind's level of consciousness. The following outlines each brainwave and its primary impact on consciousness. Let it be a guide or resource to develop a vocabulary around brain function

Gamma brain waves are the fastest brain waves and they occur when you're on high alert. Interestingly, in advanced states of meditation and healing the brain produces impressive levels of gamma waves to reverse disease and advance brain development. Gamma waves are the highest frequency of brainwave and the more your brain produces the happier and better memory you have. You'll know when you're in gamma when you hit your flow state and are completely captivated in the present. So like when an artist is doing their art or a baker baking her cakes or an athlete is performing their sport.

Beta is the predominant state of our waking lives. We are in beta when we are at work, interacting in society, or conversing with others. In this state, one's focus is usually more external. It's also the state most associated with anxiety, stress, and panic. If beta waves are over 15% this usually means a person's acute stress response is active.

The state of alpha you're still alert and able to interact with the world, but you're calm and a bit more aware of your internal dialog. This state can be good for brainstorming and creative problem-solving and isn't associated with panic. Unlike gamma's flow state, alpha still has mental dialog and thoughts of past and future whereas gamma often the mind is quiet.

We are naturally in theta twice a day– once when we're about to wake up and again before sleep. The theta brain wave state feels like when you were a hormonal teenager and your mom was trying to get you up for school and you could understand what she was saying but you never fully woke up or were very slow to respond. You have a vague memory of it and the conscious mind registers it, but your subconscious mind was dominant. In this state, your brain is most impressionable and you can change your conditioning by accessing this state of consciousness and simply suggesting what the programming should be. The subconscious. This is the state of consciousness hypnotists access with patients and use the subconscious as a gateway to the quantum world.

Delta brain waves are dominant when one's asleep. This state of consciousness is essential for the brain and body to repair and integrate healing.

Breaking Bare Hypnosis is a quantum healing modality that accesses the theta brain wave state to remove energetic attachments, venture into past lives, and interview the higher self. To learn more click below:
